The suites were absolutely fantastic! We had an open fire and a heated floor, which made the room feel cozy and luxurious. The view from our suite was breathtaking, with cliffs overlooking the sea. We also loved the fact that our room had a shower with a sea view - it was truly amazing. The breakfast prepared by the chef was delicious and definitely one of the best we've had.
There were a few negative aspects to our stay. The reception staff and duty manager were quite strange and didn't make us feel welcome as guests.

The view and venue is wonderful. Cannot fault it.
Having stayed in many hotels throughout the world I think if you charge top dollar, attention to detail is a must. The young and inexperienced management, even though they tried hard, lacked professionalism, basic knowledge and supervision. The Chef Angie and her husband Tyler appeared to be far more professional and experienced than the younger staff. The rooms were not clean. Behind the unit in our room was full of dirt and dust. Serviettes with black marks were placed on the tables. Requests were not followed up. Simple questions could not be answered. Unfortunate, as it could have been an absolutely super experience.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the stunning location of this hotel with its private beach and beautiful walks. It was a rare find in South Africa. the hotel's decor and ambience created a relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect getaway. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. the spa was a highlight, with the soothing treatments accompanied by the calming sound of waves crashing nearby.
The lack of reception and wifi, which made it difficult to stay connected to the outside world. the access road to the hotel was poor, which was a bit of a inconvenience.
